About Us
The Benton Volunteer Fire Company is headquartered in the Borough of Benton in rural northeast Pennsylvania. We are an all volunteer organization that was originally chartered in 1939 and currently operates with over 30 active members staffing a Rescue Engine, 2 Brush trucks, a Pumper/Tanker, and a Quick Attack. We provide a full range of fire suppression, rescue, QRS, and community education services to the 4,500 residents of Benton Borough, Benton Township, Jackson Township, Fishing Creek Township, and Stillwater Borough under contract. We also provide mutual/automatic aid coverage to Orange Township, Greenwood Township, Pine Township, Millville Borough, Jordan Township, Sugarloaf Township, Huntington Township, Fairmount Township, and New Columbus Borough serving an additional 9,500 residents totaling 100 square miles.
